THE SITUATION OF SHARPS INJURIES AMONG IN MEDICAL STAFFS AT DUC GIANG GENERAL HOSPITAL IN 2022

The study aimed to: (1) Describe the situation of damage caused by sharp waste in medical staffs and (2) Identify association factors at Duc Giang General Hospital 2022. is a cross-sectional descriptive research on 121 health care workers. results showed that 24,8% healthcare workers injuried waste, which wounds finger hand accounted for most with 96,7%, skin mucous lesions majority 63,3%, related to patients who may have HIV, hepatitis B other infectious diseases 16,7%, 13.3% 30%, respectively. Factors associated injury include age, training solid knowledge management (p<0.05). Conclusion: rate among still high, especially young people, those not been trained poor management.
